So, what's the dealio with this band? How did they become the biggest selling rock band in North America? They've sold 4 million copies of their album and you cannot escape their music. If you turn on any rock station, Nickelback will be playing.

I don't remember the title of their big hit but the video is so ridiculous and predictable, I don't understand rock musicians who let the music video director make them look like a boys band

the key to having rock hits is the power ballad... yes, that's right... it was huge in the mid to late 80s, and it's back with a vengence... creed, staind, default, nickelback, blah blah blah muthafuckinblah... every rock band today is riding the power ballad to unimaginable success... i hate it... i just really wish it would hurry up and go away already...
