Down here in the NZ there is a splendid man by the name of Sean Donnelly who releases music under the band name of SJD. His new album, Songs from a Dictaphone, is just sensational. As was his previous release, the name of which escapes me at the moment.

He is a sort of cross between Crowded House and electronica pop (New Order... ish... if you know what I mean), but, on the new release at least, shows hints of Neil Finn's collaboration with Wendy Melvoin, especially on track one of the album, Bad Karma In Yokohama.

I cannot recommend this music highly enough. I suggest you all stop what you're doing right this very instant and all rush to your nearest purveyor of Kiwi music.
