I read on this blog site that she's recorded 3 songs and her label is really proud she got 3 tracks down as if it took an act of Congress for it to happen...

It ain't like she could fuck music up any more than it already is. Compared to these shit hoppers, even she sounds funky. Andy is a four letter word.

Tracks by R.Kelly and Ne-Yo?
doesn't sound too promising.I used to really like Whitney back in the day,but I'm afraid it might be over for her.She has nearly destroyed her career,to the point where the music is secondary.I wish her good luck, though.

As one who works in the 'biz' (in a non-bragging way...BELIEVE ME nothin to brag about these days)
I do know that SonyBMG had penciled in the Tuesday before Thxgiving this year along with Jennifer Hudson's new album..but in recent weeks the status for Whitney's record is 'Release date TBD' but it is still being worked on..at a very slow pace.... If need be, Clive Davis will light a fire under ass the way she & Bobbay used to light one under a spoon in no time to meet deadline! ,... Every minute of last night is on my face today....

I'm hoping her new album will be something to talk about. The biz needs Whitney. We have way too many female artists who really can't sing and only shake their asses. It will be nice to have her back and to hear her great voice again.

I agree...we need our diva back...it would be a great Xmas season with a great Whitney album along with some great TV apearences!! 2007 4th Quarter is shaping up to be quite a diva season...Mariah, Madonna, Jennifer Hudson, J-Lo, Celine and possibly Whitney all releasing albums around the same time... ... I think thats the same day that UNIVERSAL has penciled in Mariah Carey's new cd. Not to sound like i focus on sales, but Mariah is gonna stomp those girls like a "narc" at a biker rally. They should look for another date, maybe the tuesday before Xmas. The scary thing is im acutally more anxious about the UK's 4th quarter releases though im anxious about MC and JLO. But the UK has got a new Girls Aloud,a-Ha, Annie Lennox (here too) and possibly a new Tears for Fears, Kylie and more. wha what? i thought there last cd flopped? So when do sales dictate if a band can record still? They had a live dvd/cd that came out after this, plus to me, their last cd was just about their best ever. I mean really should realize that an older artist aint gonna sell anymore. Cause Roland can spend some green in the studio...and weren't he and Curt fighting again during the tour? All the signs (plus the album flopping) gave me the impression they would just close the books... And they released a live dvd? Really? There website hasn't been updated since the release of the album. Space for sale...
