They should have re-recorded that song and released it on their greatest hits package. Their version was excellent.

Come on, it was a "tribute". They did a good job with the harmonizing and sang it well. razz

hey, i don't have a problem with them paying tribute but to say its great and then suggest it be put on their greatest hits is a bit much for a tribute/parody.

i'm all for remakes but folks best be willing to bring something original to the mix...with justin mimicing janet's vocals and moves i was waiting for a quick cut edit to him dressed exactly like her with shell chocker and all. lol

I'm assuming this cover of "That's the Way Love Goes" was not meant to be taken seriously. It's literally the same instrumental track and even the video is a copycat of Janet Jackson's video. Judging by the screaming, this was played in front an audience, so it's likely part of some tribute to Janet Jackson. Other than that, it's unoriginal crap.

it was played in front of an audience. it was a whole tribute show to janet in 2001, she was there they played this for janet and other acts like mya, pink and usher performed....janet was the first person to be honored as an MTV icon, the next one is supposedly gonna be later this year or early next year for madonna.

ps. janet didn't recieve an award it was just a tribut show and janet performed in the end

That was embarrasing. I watched five seconds and stopped it.

It's essentially Nsync performing a karoke version of Janet Jackson's "That's the Way Love Goes." Like sosgemini said, some people are acting like what the group did was so impressive. IMO, that's laughable because the group literally aped what Jackson did -- even making a video that aped hers -- to the point it can come off as parody.
