Do you hide your Justin Timberlake CDs?

I remember an article around the time Justified dropped, that someone said, Justin had a hard uphill battle, because he had to deal with, people not being ashamed to like him or his music, because of his boyband past. (Mainly with his male audience, or at the time, lack thereof.)

So I was just curious, to all the males that are into Justin's music, do you hide your cds of his? Is it a guilty pleasure? Or does that even matter to you?

I don't own them and never will.

But if I did, I most certainly WOULD hide them. A Justin CD is like child porn. You should never - under any circumstances - be in posession of it.

I don't own any CDs but I did download one song once and I quickly skipped past it as fast as I could when I was demonstrating something to someone on my iPod and it came up on Shuffle lol I deleted it after that.

It says a lot considering some of the embarassing shit I don't hide from people.

I kinda knew it would happen but it was hilarious to see:

A couple weekends ago I DJ'd a sweaty summer house party and everyone in the house was dancing to Snoop Doggy Dogg "Gin And Juice".

The next song I put on removed all of the men (from the couples!) and left only females remaining on the dancefloor. lol

The song? Justin Timberlake "Summer Love"

They couldn't even REMAIN DANCING with the girl they were already with!

Not to jacko the thread, but when DJing I noticed the real King Of Pop's music could SAVE a dancefloor. (Old) MJ has the effect of making everyone dance.

i downloaded half of the recent cd. they're good. shit, its better than the crap prince is serving up right now. shrug

but to answer, i would never hide my music. first of all, it's just music and certainly ain't nothing worth being ashamed of. second of all, i don't have friends who would judge me based on music. lol

besides, i still own my spice girls stuff...and listen to them, too.

Just by self-proclaimed Justin-haters.

I mean, rolleyes it is SO childish it is silly. His singles RULE. People buy it by droves or they wouldn't by hits.

Our men aren't that uptight (as the males at Cinne's party); when we play him, even Beatles fans dance. Well, the last party I was at, that's what happened. And it was all music snobs there. Let's call loving Justin Timberlake avant-garde.

Listen. I ain't a huge fan. I just always noisily defend him because his haters here are SO, well, more childish than the boyband he was in, back in the day.

I just love, love, love his singles, which I think are fun. His albums I do not like as much, but he is a fledgeling and he gets better and better, I think.

Sure, he is white trash. Common, he dated Britney Spears. But daaaamn, Rock Your Body is classic.

hehe giggle They were all about 19-21 and I'm pretty sure those 1998-2000 boybands were targeted squarely at their "tween" generation. Maybe they still remember him all too well from *NStynk

his latest music reminds me so much of prince and mj with some george michael so yes I have his CD's and play them time to time though I hate him as a person and think he's cocky. I love timbaland's sound so naturally I like the CD as well. I bought FSLS because the money was going towards a good cause, it was from a craft sale at a hospital around holiday time and they happened to have few CD's including that.
