*Check This!!* ORGers of all musical tastes, I want an honest opinion!

Hello all my fellow Orgers, and thank you in advance to everyone that reads this.I don't mean to come across as self-promoting but I really do need some opinions here!!

Well, I don't speak about it much because I don't want to come across too arrogant or anything, but I'm in a band. Amongst Indian folks, a famous band. We are called Swami and did our last album "DesiRock" through Sony BMG, and there's a few labels fighting for the new one. We headlined the MTV Style Awards in Mumbai back in 2005, the Olsen Twins are fans of ours and used a song of ours in their movie, and we had a song in a massive FIFA World Cup soccer video game on the Playstation2/Xbox360/etc. Our music is a mix of funk, soul, electro, pop, r'n'b and bhangra.

Anyway, as I'm sure some of you fellow artists will relate, how do you top a massively successful song/album on that scale? Well....this is what we did.

Click here to go to our MySpace and listen to the first track that plays, it's called "Hey Hey".

It's funky, danceable, with some killer horns and a bad ass sax solo. Vocals are a duet between a soul/pop singer from Harlem called Boostylz, and a Punjabi vocalist.

It's a very commercial track so I want to know what everyone thinks of it? We wanted it to appeal across genres, so I think pop fans, r'n'b fans, funk fans, dance fans will all (hopefully) like it!

I'm sure you fellow artists on here know how hard it is to be objective about your own work.....hence the thread. I can't even hear our songs from an outside perspective anymore, i've heard them too much!

Everyone who replies gets massive love and positive karma from me biggrin biggrin

Thanks for the feedback mynameisnotsusan! Glad you like it...We're in talks with a big American rapper who may want to do a feature on it for an international version of the track....similar to how Punjabi MC re-did his track with Jay-Z a few years ago.....

thanks again!
