There are probably umpteen proper mixes of the song. One of my favorites has to be the "On the Radio" mix which includes quite a bit of Donna singing slightly the song slightly off the regular beat of the single verison. I believe it's really short, too.

I love the longer version of that and "Last Dance". biggrin

Donna gives out a gospel wail on the end of "Last Dance" too that shocked me. lol

love to love you, baby love to love

love to love you,baby baby
love to love you,baby baby
love to love you, baby love to love

this is the version that appears on the 'On The Radio' album.

This version I'm talking about is from the "Gold" compilation and it's labelled as
Love To Love You Baby (Original Long 7" Version)

hmmm I never bought that compilation, but I'm pretty sure it's the version that I'm talking about. As far as I know, there are two single edits of that song:

***the original single version features all the verses, and choruses. This is the original single version from 1975,the version that is the most common.

***Another version only features two verses. In the middle of the song,it slows down and then features alot of background vocals, singing the same lines over and over...

love to love you,baby baby
love to love you,baby baby
love to love you, baby love to love

This version appears on her 1979 album 'On The Radio'.
