I was just listening to the radio, and the classic Let It Whip by the Dazz Band came on. I've known and liked that song since it was first released, but I cannot hear it anymore without thinking of that damn Tampax commerical from a few years ago with the Gramblings cheerleaders. Tampax is so funky, it even had the referees doin' a little jig.

- Jean Knight's "Mr. Big Stuff" is forever ruined for me from the Oreo Doublestuff commercials. (didn't we have a conversation about this very thing before Dan? )

- and of course the California Raisins doing "I Heard it Through the Grapevine"


I'm sure I'll think of many more in a bit. I'm like Rain Man when it comes to remembering commercials and exact dialogue/songs and all that.

I just watched your Tampax ad though, and I've never seen that before. "Tampax was there?" Do we really need to know that?

- "Mack the Knife" was used (although they changed the lyrics) in a McDonalds commercial that had some scary moon guy onstage singing it. "It's Mac tonight!"
