The Jazz Bakery I had the privilege of seeing Patrice Rushen and company here and have attended several other shows at this cool intimate non profit Jazz concert hall. I love eating crepes at the Cafe Dijonaise and then going to see a show here. Let us know about your jazz bakery experiences. I will spill a few of mine in a bit. Perhaps we should have a fan gathering here? would be cool. Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

Nice place for sure.
I was only there once 4 years ago to see... ...Sam Rivers (who I was also fortunate enough to play a few gigs with) celebrate his 80th birthday. The man was/is amazing. Played is ass off with the energy of someone less than half his age. Really good spot for a get together. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 [Edited 7/25/07 18:25pm] "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I Got to see the Maestro Jimmy Smith there just before he died playing with Charlie Hunter. For those of you folks who have never seen Mr. Hunter, he plays this cool ass 10 string guitar that is half bass strings half guitar strings and he plays the bass strings with his bottom 2 fingers and the top part with his other 3 fingers. Its amazing. Go see Charlie Hunter. Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

I went there this Febuary to see George Duke it was very nice and George even signed CDs afterward. We did the French Cafe before the show and the food was delicious, unfortunately they were closed when the show let out. | |
