Yep,....Devon was a dangerous chick. I think she was unstable. U have to be careful of women that will follow a cat around like that. They totally get caught up in "The STAR" that they want everything to do with. She was a groupie, sure. But she was on this trip of trying to make Hendrix jealous and he knew. He didn't give a fuck about her sleeping with Mick. Mick was on a similar trip with Jimi cuz many women that Mick wanted to get with either wanted to get with Jimi or had ALREADY gotten with Jimi. Hell, it it was Linda Keith, Keith Richards ole' lady who basically got Jimi discovered. Told Chas about him. if jimi hadn't went to England, then uh, ..there's no telling what would have happened. I have only seen one photo of Devon Wilson(Dolly Dagger). She was nice looking but nothing special. She must have known how to work some serious mojo to be a Black groupie in a white rock n roll world. | |
