Lauryn Hill loses her s**t in Norway....

This is just sad...I used to love this woman so...WTF.

From PerezHilton

According to sources at Lauryn Hill’s Norway concert this weekend, her crazy demands are even more out of control. Apparently she demanded that all her security guards be black, none of them could look at her–even from backstage, no one around her could speak to her unless she speaks to them first, and no one could walk past her backstage. Chick clearly has some issues.

When one security guard forgot one of the rules and said something to her, she allegedly lost her damn mind and started throwing water bottles at him. And after the power went out in the venue–Lauryn refused to continue once the power came back on. Folks had to get a refund.

This is why the Fugees reunion isn't happening.

From Pras on billboard.com:

Pras Goes Homeless On Film, Says Fugees CD Is 'Dead'

July 18, 2007, 2:45 PM ET

Mariel Concepcion, N.Y.
Rapper Pras has always had a way with words, but never did he imagine that a game of Scrabble would spark his next venture. "Skid Row," a Screen Media documentary, finds the Fugees principal living as a homeless man for nine days on the infamous Los Angeles strip of the same name. The film opens Aug. 24 in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.

"A couple of years ago, a few friends of mine and I were playing Scrabble, and one of them came up with the idea to shoot a documentary about skid row," Pras tells Billboard.com. "I thought he was trying to distract me 'cause I was about to make like 100 points, but he wasn't."

Last year, after two weeks of filming, a month of pre-production and another two weeks of editing, "Skid Row" was ready to be seen. "I went in with the notion that it'd be easy, but then you get there and you realize it's a whole other world and that ignorance is bliss. Most people think homeless people are on drugs or lazy, but that is far from the truth," says Pras. "I left with a completely different mindset on the situation."

While on the streets, Pras endured rats crawling over his belongings and a stream of dope fiends doing drugs. But he also made a few friends, some of whom have passed away since filming. "I just got a call last week. One of the guys that used to be a heroin addict and helped us, he died of an overdose," he says with a tinge of sadness.

Pras also expressed frustration about the status of the long-awaited Fugees reunion, which seemed on track as of last fall. "We went in the studio and recorded a couple records that were incredible. But, to put it nicely, it's dead," says Pras. "Me and Clef, we on the same page, but Lauryn [Hill] is in her zone, and I'm fed up with that sh*t. Here she is, blessed with a gift, with the opportunity to rock and give and she's running on some b*llshit? I'm a fan of Lauryn's but I can't respect that."

Pras has instead turned his attentions to an upcoming solo project for Sony BMG, "Experience," due before the end of the year. A video for first single "Pop Life" was recently filmed in Hong Kong, Dubai, Macao and Abu Dhabi, with scenes still to be shot in New York, Cuba and Haiti.

In addition, Pras will appear in the film "Six Bullets" alongside Josh Lucas this fall. He is also launching his non-profit organization, Prasperity Projects, next month in New York.

It has to be some kind of chemical imbalance of sorts. Stories I've heard about her are very Britney-like..but without the skank factor..just a large plate of crazy.

I remember when The Fugees first reunion show was being recorded for Dave's Block Party documentary. And I can tell by their body language that Lauryn, Clef, & Pras weren't happy to be on the same stage at all. The reunion was a waste, IMDHO. disbelief

She couldn't handle fame and loss. Sad. She's nearly a decade past her heyday. If she ever wanted to regain her status as a top artist (at least commercially) she might have blown it. A lot of top artists (Stevie, Marvin, Prince, Erykah Badu, and Mary J. Blige, to name but a few, and who knows, maybe Jill Scott?) were able to love, lose and ultimately use those experiences to make awesome music. It doesn't appear Lauryn is capable of doing the same.

I remember reading her interview in Essence a few years back at how she said it was unreal to have to go unstage if you felt a bit under the weather and I was like "Broad, please! This is your job! So what if you have a pimple here and there or a blemish here or there, deal with it!" She also thought using a lot of instruments wasn't really making music.

The moral of the story is - "Good dick will always fuck a broad's head up" lol

Lauryn is one of those people that is famous more for what she hasnt done than for what she has. Sure she has done great stuff, but the mystery of her not recording again or "when" will she record again has taken over and made her a legend for things not done. This is the same way i feel about Axl Rose, Kurt Cobain and others who have this "status" of legend already.
