Marc Bolan and Prince have many traits in common..
They both became superstars in their early 20's..
They both play guitar..
They both used their androgynous persona's to catapult them to fame..
Marc Bolan was the Man that started the "Glam rock" movement in the early 70's..and Prince was one of the Most successful artist during the "New Romantic" era..
The New Romantic phenomenon was similar to that of glam rock during the early 1970s, in that (male) New Romantics dressed in effeminate clothing, and wore cosmetics.
Marc Bolan wore womens shoes...
Prince wears High Heels..
They both are short in stature...
And ..
Prince's song "CREAM" has lyrics that go...
U're filthy cute and baby u know it

Marc Bolan' biggest hit "GET IT ON" has lyrics that go...
You're dirty sweet and you're my girl

I LOVE MARC BOLAN !
I hope I was able to turn some of u on to a great artist that Died too soon !

I always thought "Cream" emulated (or imitated) a lot from "Bang a Gong". nod
