The tightest drummer & bassist combo? Who do y'all reckon make up the tightest drummer & bassist combo?
My vote goes to... George Porter Jr. & Joseph 'Zigaboo' Modeliste Incredibly funky, incredibly tight. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Even though it was short lived, Buddy Miles and Billy Cox. They really allowed Jimi to fly while they kept the groove tight and locked.
I also agree that Sly and Robbie were in there too. Larry and Gregg are tight all over Betty Davis' 1st joint. | |
