So you mean no one here likes The Dismemberment Plan? Shame on you all.
There was a time where I believed that this would be the band that would save Rock & Roll. Their mix of Emo, Alternative, Indie, Math Rock, Post-Hardcore, Nerdcore, Electro, Hip-Hop, and whatever else they decided was a really great sound, and one that I hoped would be the future of millenium Rock. Maybe it is, I don't know. But the point is, 3 years after their break-up, this band is still important and still deserves much praise and attention. Indie Rockers should know the deal. I really thought they were poised for mainstream success, but they decided to cut things short even before the slightest hope of that. It was great to know they reunited for a benefit gig in D.C. earlier this year, but that's not enough. I can only hope that sometime in the future they can come back and rock my world and possibly save the dying music scene. Let's give props to D.C.'s Indie heroes, Eric, Travis, Joe, and Jason!!!! See this is the problem. Y'all got your heads up Janet and Madge's asses and completely ignore great Indie Rock music like this group.
