Aaliyah-*We Need A Resolution* appreciation thread!!!!

6 years and this shit is STILL tight! I was hoping the whole Aaliyah album would have that underground techno funk sound that this song, Try Again, and More than a Woman had. Who else loves this song? And did Tim sample the melody? Kinda sounds like it.

i love this song! that was a nice album. i also love the song " i care for u" and that's really saying something because i hate slow jamz. the video for we need a resolution was hot too. she was beautifal and classy.

i was disappointed with the song when I first heard it because I felt like nothing could top are you that somebody and try again, but it grew on me and I ended up getting the album a few weeks after aaliyah passed away, and to my surprise it was even better than one in a million! My favourites include you got nerve, I refuse, i can be and what if, she had some prince-like funk going on there!

Fantastic song! Like a few others, I had to warm up to it after the amazing heights of "Are You That Somebody?" and "Try Again", but once it sank its teeth in, it never let go!

Love her, love the album, love this song. That was my favorite album of 2001, Kylie's Fever running a close second.

I LOVED the album too, it's one of my faves of my senior year (2001), with Miss E. So Addictive and NERD's album.

Didn't she just look outrageously gorgeous in that video? I was shocked at how gorgeous she was when she "ladied up", you know?

I love anything Aaliyah has done.
Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

This is my favorite Aaliyah song because she came out as a really dark, grown up, sexy
Plus shes BEAUTIFUL in the video and I like how Timbaland did the beats for it
If you will, so will I
