your fave songs with the 'claps' percussion

name songs you love with claps for beats, both old school and new school. Some of my favourites include:

between the sheets-isley brothers
only you can make me happy-surface
sexual healing-marvin gaye
get me bodied-beyonce
strawberry bounce-janet
be without you-mary j blige
so sick-ne yo
we belong together-mariah carey
please-toni braxton

I keep thinking of songs that are a combination like

Mantronix "Fresh Is The Word" which has a lot of the clap sound but also switches to snares.

or half-snare half-clap patterns like:

Zapp "Computer Love"

Sylvester - You make me feel (mighty real)

Claps are great for percussion, but they always have to be slightly behind the beat to have a warm human sound.

These got snares in the beats too but you made a point with that.

Reminds me of "Close To You" by The Cure and its use of claps.

I think we were mostly talking about drum machine claps that replaced snares.

You can tell I don't know much about drums, but at least I gave the thread a push up the stack. And got a few more suggestions.
