Opinions on the new Suzanne Vega album? I forgot it was coming out until I saw it in a store today...alas, no listening station. Anyone got it? What do you think? It was streaming on MSN a couple of weeks back so I have only listened to it from there.
I have the early albums - Suzanne Vega, Solitude Standing as well as Days of Open Hand (on vinyl somewhere!) and 99.9F. Have kind of lost track of SV since then. This album had the feel of her first album to me. Certainly not as experimental as 99.9F which I think is a great album. So if you like the SV of old, this could be for you. | |
