also the lead singer from the band primus,is from that same city also..les claypool..

Pete Escovedo Joe Dimaggio the escovedo's were from oakland and moved to alameda, pops was born in Pittsburg. there's some young rapper that came out of there since I have been gone. Eddie Murphy's ex nicole is from Sacramento and so was Ola Ray the girl in the thriller video, Bougeois Tagg is from Sac and so is a rock band that used to be City Kidd they changed their name though to Tesla. I used to see them and the chilli peppers for free in the 80's
