that is SUCH a difficult question for me to answer.
my stock answer is "quicksand", because i never get tired of listening to it and that gorgeous chorus always moves me whenever i hear it. it's funny, my favorite bowie phase is the late 70s, but my favorite songs are "quicksand", "life on mars", "time", "queen bitch" and probably a few others from the early days i'm not remembering right now. i love the berlin-era stuff, but i love them more in context of the whole album. for example, i love "V2 Schneider" and "Moss Garden", but less by themselves and more as part of "'Heroes'" or that soundtrack for "Christianne F.", which introduced me to a lot of the bowie/eno stuff way back when i was first getting into bowie.

Well that's my choice. Since i'm not a giant fan and don't listen to him all that much, the song doesn't have that worn out factor it may have for you. I'm very impressed with the song itself, the sound of his voice & the vocal performance in general whenever I hear it. Just a great atmospheric vibe to the piece. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. This one or Rebel Rebel. I first heard "Rebel Rebel" on Live Aid. I thought that rocked! Then I heard the studio version and was disappointed a little, but now I love it.

so many to choose! I'd have to say the epic closer to the ziggy album..... Rock N' Roll Suicide! it's simply amazing! The amount of emotion in bowie'
s voice as he yells " Just turn on with me and you're not alone Let's turn on with me and you're not alone Let's turn on and be not alone Gimme your hands cause you're wonderful Gimme your hands cause you're wonderful Oh gimme your hands." priceless!
