I can't stand that that damn song always makes the hairs on my neck stand up. I love how Holliday always looks like she's about to gobble up the microphone when she sings. She gets into those songs. It's amazing.

Jennifer Hudson & Jennifer Holiday - Great opening

P.Diddy & Co. - Suprisingly decent. Keisha Cole put a lot into her performance, and the closing part w/ the choir was hot. Who wouldve thought that puffy would be a highlight of anything? aim for the ground and youre bound to hit something, I guess.

Erykah - Damn!!

Chaka - did she really try to act like she didnt know the words to 'im coming out'? damn chaka.

Stevie - Cool.

Robin Thicke - what the fuck was he thinking? he sucks.

50 cent - I thought he was gonna go into the audience and start punching people. He sucks, too.

Diana - Very nice speech. They honored the right one, cause she couldve kept talking about herself for another hour. SHe did good. Was one of her sons in the movie 'ATL'?

Donkey Kong's oops i mean 50 cents performance was beyond
awful. This clown is the most overrated rapper or artist to
come along and years. He yelled yeah and what for the first
damn 10 minutes of his lousy performance. The show really didn't
become interesting until Eddie levert,patti,gladys,and yolanda adams
put it down. The tribute to diana was nice too. I like ciara too. I'll
be the first to admit she can't sing but damn her ass is worth the price of

Mo'Nique was fantastic as always and the tribute was great, but what's with all the damn yelling? Even Yolanda Adams has started yelling her songs instead of singing them.

It was great to see Patti and Gladys. Gladys has such an amazing voice and Patti looks fantastic.

Diddy was a joke! I don't see his talent at all. I also don't see the appeal of Robin Thicke either.

The "Jennifers" were great. I hope Jennifer Hudson releases an album of real singing and not pop or hip/hop. She has such a good voice, I would hate to see it wasted.

50 Cent

Its funny how you can feel "tension" in the air at the BET awards or the Vibe awards or Source, its almost like everyone is there to put each other down, or to pick a fight or start a beef with someone. But then they always throw in a Diana Ross or Stevie Wonder or Public Enemy to try and redeem itself. The funny thing about the 50 CENT performance is how everyone is all, clean it up, and yet the BET awards books him and you know hes gonna curse, you know some shit is gonna go down, so if you really serious about killing "gangsta" mentality than dont promote it. Its funny but i have watched the Latin Grammys and Bilboard Latin Awards and a few other Latin Award shows and it always seems that they champion their Pioneers, they dont just tack them on to a show to make it redeemable. BET needs to prove that it really respects LEGACY and doesnt just use it in tributes to COVER UP what they really promote.

damn it, i missed the first 2 hours and 15 minutes. here's my thoughts though. ciara gave an electrrifying performance but that part where she went into the audience was a bit off. it was kinda strange. any thoughts on that anyone?? her body is bangin though. it looks like she lost a few pounds and got diesel. i love ciara! i'll have to catch the repeat to see the whole thing.
