Bought a couple of her albums a few weeks ago... that's some real stanky fonk right there. Larry played on Betty's debut, at least, so it is very possible that he played on the later albums aswell. it's not larry graham on the second or third albums...i know that by "nasty gal", she was working with a lot of musicians from her pre-recording days, and that the band on "nasty gal" was also her touring band. i'd love to share a list of names, but the copy of "nasty gal" i have didn't come with liner notes!  | |

I've got my iPod with me to work and I put 'Nasty Gal' on after I read your post. Indeed, it is not Larry playin' bass, it doesn't sound like Larry.
