Good pick, pill. This is a very, very cool song. Used to love this to death when I was little. Played the 45 untill it became a 43. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Yes and no. "Love Machine" was released as a single after Smokey left the group. Billy Griffin was the lead singer. Interestingly enough, the group had only one pop #1 song with Smokey ("The Tears of a Clown") and one without him (this song). "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis | |

She was apart of the Miracles performing with them from 57 to 63, I believe. Starting in 1964, she onlt recorded with them in the studio but never performed until 1973's farwell concert that retired Smokey from the Miracles and introduced Billy. PRINCE: Always and Forever
