Bands Reunited

I just discovered this show on VH1, where they look up old bands from the 80's or whatever, and attempt to get them back together for a performance.

They were not able to do it with The English Beat, but were successful with Haircut 100.

It's great to see these guys some twenty or so years later, and when they see their old mates after such a long time apart, the expressions of love and forgiveness on their faces are simply... just incredible!

I was actually smiling at the tv screen upon some of their initial reactions to eachother. Having just gone through something similar (sans all the media attention and cameras in my face), I can relate to the immense feeling of something having gone full circle.

Check it out if you get a chance. Wonderful show. Finally a new music television show that actually includes music!!!

This is a great show. My favorite episodes were Klymaxx, ABC, Flock Of Segalls, and Motels just to name a few. It's a shame that their only showing bloody repeats. VH1 needs to keep investing in this show because it takes alot of us 70's & 80's kids down memory lane.

I absolutely loved this show when it first came out. The Berlin reunion show made me buy some albums of theirs. Romeo Void's show made me aware of their music. Great idea!

This was another great show. It was kind of tragic about what happen to the sax player.

They're showing a "marathon" of the show right now.

The Flock of Seagulls one was good, but the Klymaxx one was hysterical!

I haven't seen the Klymaxx episode. My favorites are Kajagoogoo and the Motels. The Beat was also good.

It's funny you should say that. If you think about, the lyrics from Never Say Never sounds like one of her routines from the 80's which are hillarious. Saudra was off the hook and didn't give a damn. razz lol

I love Romeo Void too. Her vocals almost remind me of a proto-Kim Gordon.
