Mine favs from him are from the late 60's early 70's:

"Say It Loud" is one of my all time favorite songs period
and I know you guys will not believe this but I'm not all that familiar with James Brown's music I respect him, I have a couple of those 70's albums Hell & The Payback but I just hadn't really indulged...
