It's not called staying up to date, it's called selling out. Quincy somewhat had a style of his own back in the day. If that style is played out, then create a new style. A musician lowering their standards to the lowest, untlalented, gutter trash form of music such as shit hop is selling out in the worst form.

Exactly! And I think Prince was probably getting a little more from Tony M. than just a rap on his album. lol

Brotha TA, I still got this album on wax. In addition to the cut you just mention, my all time favorite cut on this album was Get The Funk Out Of My Face because the bass was rough. Now, this was a serious Funk album and as the Funkologist fro you know I wouldn't steer you wrong on the Funk.
