The Blackbyrds' 'City Life' (1975) and 'Unfinished Business' (1976)

Both of these albums are compiled together on one CD lol I picked this up yesterday:

'City Life' opens with "Rock Creek Park" love "Happy Music" is on here too!!

Who remembers the Blackbyrds?

All of their major albums have been re-released as twofers...

...Blackbyrds/Flying Start & Action/Better Days

It appears that yesterday (6/3) the original members reformed to perform at the Capital Jazz Festival.

All great albums, my favorite would have to be Action though. When I first got that one I played the hell out of it almost non-stop, especially "Dreaming Of You" and "Mysterious Vibes" nod

I'm gonna get those albums next lol These twofers are alot of fun,and the prices are reasonable (I paid $14.99 for 'City Life/Unfinished Business'....about the price of a regular CD).
