I heard her new single "Dirty" yesterday.Still trying to decide if I like it or not...

Actually it's DiRRty, don't ask me y.
Has been online over a month now.
I'd say it's decent, considering the target audience that is.
Still have 2 c the video, also very subtle i heard

I am still trying too.

I thought Britney was going the Janet route (vocally)

and Christina was going the Mariah route (vocally)


with Dirty, i don't know what she is doing except trying to get on TRL.

She looks good but sometime she can look like a hootchie.

I think she is strong vocally if she would just do a vocal song and not a song that was made in the studio

Though Christina's my girl, I am also undecided about Dirrty. It's a little too tame for me. I thought Redman's part could have been stronger.

Anyway, her cd cover is just a rip-off of the Janet cover minus the hands. And she really needs a stylist to get her off the worst dressed lists.

Hopefully, she will realize how great her voice is and focus on that instead of trying to be the extreme version of Britney.

Ummm, I think her stomach is so airbrushed that it looks flat like paper!

And about that stylist thing- my cousin introduced me to one of her former stylists in Miami to network, and Lawd, Lawd, Lawd! It was this frizzy haired Jersey bulldozer of a girl (well she was actually about 40 or so) with a mouth full of grilled salmon and fried hair who didn't know how to chew with her mouth closed!!! And the girl was going on and on about how she had also styled Gloria Estefan, with friggin salmon falling out of her mouth after every other word- I was just like, 'well, dear, it appears your work, and your way of doing things...it, er uh, really speaks for itself! it really says... something!?!' After meeting that chick, if the likes of Aguilera or Estefan are hiring stylists THAT
unrefined, for me it REALLY explains alot. Jeez, the whole point of consulting stylists is because they are ARBRITERS
OF STYLE who guide you in the ways of good taste (or bad taste done cleverly)...but I've heard that the Miami scene is based more on sexiness and notoriety anyway, so all those people run around doing trends to DEATH having not one speck of knowlege or talent about old school marketing and glamour, or the real fashion system, and they just go to the right parties and chill with the in crowd and they get great paying jobs making artists like Cristina Aguilera look horrible...sad but true...but then, that's why the ones who START in Miami, end up STAYING in Miami, I guess.
In the meantime, we're stuck looking at that madness, while the artist spends all of their time being coddled by "creative" yes people, and duped into believing how "great" they look when they should be focusing on their art...eeek!
