bjork and prince could turn out to be as hideous as love song or as pretty as I Love You But I Don't Trust You..

I like it lots. It seems like a perfect midway point between "When 2 R In Love" and "Scandalous" in Prince's evolution of bedroom ballads.

it's a good song, but it just seems to scream neither one of them really cared about it.

I got much love and reespect for Bjork,
but she aint in the same league as prince.
You take a computer away from Bjork, you have nothing but a singer.
You take a computer away from princce, you just Prince with acoustic acompanaiment. Which is always betteer in my book

actually, bjork is classically trained in composition and can write/perform songs on organ.

i don't think she has the virtuosity for musical instruments that prince has, but i don't think prince can handle the same level of complexity that bjork can as a composer. it's a trade-off, really.

That's judging on the notion that complex is "Good"
I love Bjork but her simpler songs ,for me, are best.
Stuff like Hyperballad, Or the Remix to I Miss You, which i like better to the original becsuse its simpler.

She's making electronika/trip hop like music into Avant-gardesque digi pop.
Prince is the extreme of simplicity on the other hand, which can get anoyying as well.
But i think he still has the upper hand.

Well, for my money Bjork was at the height of her powers on Vespertine and that was by far her most complex work.

The same could be argued about Lovesexy and that's my favorite Prince album.

I love their minimalist stuff too.
