Thanks for posting that. I remember watching this as a kid..You don't see stuff like this on TV anymore. This is when music was real music..Damn I miss Marvin.....and Donna Summer was f-i-n-e!

Indeed!! lol It shows you how much better our music was back then.The competition was FIERCE.All of those ladies released outstanding songs that year.

I'm sayin nod...First you had Stevie, then Luther, then Ray Parker Jr., then Marvin, and then George Benson...and on the female side, Jennifer, backed up by Patrice, backed up by, Deniece, backed up by Aretha, backed up by Donna Summer, and then Diana Ross. Sheeeeeit. And, I better take in what I saw from that clip as much as possible, cause at the rate most R&B music is goin, it'll probably never be on that kind of level again. sad

You are going to love that "Straight From The Heart" album. It is great. My favorite track from the album is "I Was Tired Of Being Alone".

The CD also has 12 Inch bonus tracks.
