TOP 10 Best 'Idol' Contestants (USA, UK or any other)...lets do this!

I thought for fun lets wear that guilty pleasure on our sleeves before summer and rank your Top 10 favorite contestants from your favorite 'Idol' series. Here are mine...

1) JENNIFER HUDSON - From the moment she appeard on the screen back in the Seasson 3 auditions..I called it..this girl has something..the shocker elimination drove me to tears.

2) MELINDA DOOLITTLE - The best singer that ever was on that show..it's a tough call between her and J-Hud. Her version of 'Home' from THE WIZ was perfection.

3) CARRIE UNDERWOOD - Called her from Day 1 too...best country singer they've had and she has 6 million ways to prove it now! That album wont stop cranking hit after hit.

4) RUBEN STUDDARD - Loved the Velvet Teddybear from day one..his voice is amazing but his albums have been very dissapointing. It was great to see him w/ Jordan at the finale this year

5) KELLY CLARKSON - I did not watch Season 1 but I love this girl...great person, singer. Great songs!

6) LATOYA LONDON - Another one who left too soon...that S3 finale should've been her and Fantasia.

7) FANTASIA - Cant get into her albums but she blew me away week after week and her version of some of the 'Color Purple' songs move me very much.

8) CHRIS DAUGHTRY - Hot, great singer, great album...should've won but obviously did not have to!

9) JORDAN SPARKS - She's from the AZ (like me!) and she has star written all over her face..cant wait for the album..if Melinda couldnt take the prize..Jordan was right to win.

10) KIMBERLY LOCKE - Great voice...love her dance mixes...she's played Pride festivals and kinda has that gay fanbase thing that singers like Deborah Cox and Amber have...loyal...give us something to dance to with that magnificent voice and we're happy!

peace

Katharine Mcphee, though i only saw her on the show once, which was the Prince show, she can kick ass vocally, i'll take her over most of that list vocally in a minute, and her album, though a little RB influenced, thats what AI wanted, is probably the best AI artist album, though its the only one i own.

The only AI contestants I ever liked were Katherine McPhee, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Hicks.

Will Young is the only person I've ever bought a record from who came from a TV talent show, and it was just the one album (Friday's Child).

I like Guy Sebastian's voice though. Hate all the big wailing ninnies from American Idol, especially that out of control wench Jennifer Hudson, the most undeserved Oscar winner since Hilary Swank.

this is the only one i remotely like from all the dutch shows.
she came in third but was the most talented out of the bunch..

don't like the kind of songs they have her singing though

Ellie's never going to get over the fact that Hilary Swank won two deserved Oscars...two! biggrin Anyway.

He's a big fucking mess and his song's are bland, but I think Clay's voice is great.
