and i had the pleasure of seeing her perform it live maybe 15 years ago, at the james l. knight center in miami....whew! what a powerhouse performance...one of my all time favorites. i think it's a cover written by the lady who used to be elton john's duet partner in the 70's---maybe the lady that is on the song 'don't go breakin' my heart' (???) but anyway, LOVE that tune  | |
