and all of this happened AFTER he had beaten her. are you forgetting the part where she said she looked in the mirror and saw how badly she looked after he had given her a busted lip? i'm not excusing her behavior, but damn i sure do understand. you or me might not have done the same thing she had done in the same situation, but who am i to judge her and look at her like she was a crazy mad woman. I didn't live in her shoes, i didn't know what she had to deal with in that relationship and neither do you.

Regarding the look she gives the camera:

That part of the footage is in slow-motion. At standard speed, it wouldn't look anywhere near that eerie.

I may be late but I just caught this on VH-1. She was filming a very intriguing documentary about her time in the Honduras. What freaked me out was that they showed the filming right up until she had the fatal car crash! I totally didn't expect that. The documentary was very interesting and made me wonder what she would have been like as an entertainer today. All I could say is wow!

I didnt see the documentary, but people need to just realize it was a Crash, i know we like to think that everything is so sinnister and something else had to be going on, but it was a crash. Maybe people like Lisa see there lives as being short, and some even can predict death coming, I mean John Lennon in his interviews the day of his death was talking about LIFE and hoping it would be long, and even spoke to his wife in private telling her that he knew that someday he wouldnt be around, does that mean Lennon hired the gunman? NO it just happend, . I remember one time some one said discussing the JFK assasination, they said that "we as people always want to believe theres a reason for something happening, sometimes there isnt a reason or cover up or anything, sometimes things just happen like that" but we like to believe that everything is a cover up or a plot or a conspiracy.

One thing that does bother me about this footage, though i havent seen it, its already on You Tube and other sites. So in that respect, i wouldnt have shown it, because now that is what people will remember about her.

I saw this a few days ago
and thorougly enjoyed it
but needless to say
it did kind of spook me a lil bit

esp when she was talking about
the dream she had
there was this look on her face
when she said she saw
"basically... THE END"
and the emphasis she put on EN-DUH

I saw someone else comment
on another board how there probably was
a spirit haunting her...
esp the accident with the kid...

his last name was Lopez...
just too weird man

she was the cutest baby/toddler though love
with all that hair LOL

Ok, just saw it again just to confirm that she WASN'T wearing her seatbelt and she wasn't. Then I read the news clipping that FALSELY stated that she WAS wearing her seatbelt.

I wonder why they spun it to saying she had her belt on? Why not just tell the truth to reinforce to people that they should buckle-up? Wouldn't that be a stronger message? It makes no sense unless they're trying to cover something up?

Now that I've finally seen it, the whole "eerie last shot" thing was just what I suspected - they simply slowed down the last time she looked into the camera & let it linger a bit so it held more weight. She'd been looking into the camera the whole time to thematically, it makes sense to do that.

As far as the crash, OF COURSE we couldn't see what caused it - the camera was pointed @ the girls in the back seat! Had they been shooting out the window then maybe we could have seen something, but I have a bit of a theory:

Not to get all cosmic & bullshitty BUT when the doc mentioned that she thought there was a spirit after her trying to kill her that was really spooky to me. & what was even spookier was that she would be in posession of the shoes of the little boy who died. What a symbolic thing to take, his SHOES. And that his last name was Lopez, & that she put a lot of weight into astrology & numerology (I actually feel a bit guilty every time I read my horoscope lol I just feel like we're not supposed to KNOW or try to find out what's gonna happen) - I just feel like she kind of invited some stuff into her life that she didn't have to - when you invite stuff in, it could be good OR BAD. I also believe that the reason the whole "spirit after me" thing was in text & not her saying it to the camera is b/c some people believe (I, being one of them) that you can speak things into existence. & maybe she thought this but didn't want it to be true, maybe she was tempting fate by being in posession of the shoes... getting in the car & driving w/o her seatbelt... maybe there was NOTHING on that road that made them crash, nothing physical at least...

I know, I'm getting cosmic & bullshitty lol But it's trippy the way it all went down. Very interesting doc... could have been 30 minutes shorter though!

Interesting thoughts. I also thought the shoes were an odd item to possess. I also wondered why she didn’t talk to someone about what she was ‘feeling’ or experiencing and maybe she did and we don’t know about it but if she was already going through a cleansing process and some odd stuff starts going on, or you feel something is askew, why not talk to someone in Sebi’s camp about it. I know they’re up on stuff like that so it shouldn’t be a big deal. Maybe she felt like it is what it is, but then when she kept talking about wanting to get back because she had so much work to do, I didn’t think she was ready or wanting to die. I thought she wanted to live.

Oh yeah, the whole seat belt thing is completely bizarre because not only is she CLEARLY not wearing one in the footage, I remember the news reports stating she wasn’t wearing one. The fact that they highlighted in the docu… was it an error in the edit department? But I think even the newspaper clip that they pull the text from says she was wearing her seatbelt. I can’t figure that one out. confuse

I haven't seen this but it sounds fascinating. I really loved Lisa Lopes. I wonder if she had been more advanced or stronger spiritually if she would have been able to stand up to the spirit, rebuke and reject it. It sounds that she was resigned to the spirit being in control? Do they explain how she ended up coming to the conclusion about the spirit?

I think she may have pulled a stunt or something on purpose and maybe it got out of hand. She may not have intended to die but then again she may have wanted to kill herself and decided she was gonna try to take those girls with her to keep her company in some wierdo spirit realm or something.

You see her looking into the camera kinda cutting her eyes at the camera almost like "watch this."
She has the box in her hand and right before the camera pans to the girls in the backseat you can almost see her "thinking" of doing something.
She hands them the cards and then the camera is on the girls. And then the car jerks to the left. It jerks again afterwhich you can kinda see her at that time trying to regain control of the car before it heads off the road.
She was so wacko, that I can't help but feel like she at least did that first 'jerk' shit on purpose. All that eerie spooky talk prior to the crash and her cutting words into her arm and shit. She was just a mess. The documentary just made her looked even more fucked up in the head than the press ever did.
