Oh deary me !
It`s very rare I venture back into my old stuff these days , but its a hot and sticky day and I`m off work so I dug out a few ; started on an Isley tip and would add to the list of Isley funk Young Girls and Eighth Wonder by Isley Jasper Isley if that counts. I have also re-discovered "You Aint Hip" by Don Blackman , Never Gonna Tell It by Phillipe Wynne , Moment Of My Life by Inner Life , Landshark by Bootsy and Godmoma Here by (unsurprisingly) Godmama. Obviously not in that order and at the expense of all those little jobs my wife expected me to do before she came home from work ! I`m in the doghouse a bit , but I am happy and funky. ***IF YOU TELL ME TO WALK A STRAIGHT LINE***

Today's listeners think The Isley Brothers was one of those groups that made slow songs only. The sad part about it is, The Isley Brothers make nothing but slow shit these days and they themselves seem to forget that they had some of the baddest and hardest funk out there such as:
