Sorry - I'm dumb. New album. Era Vulgaris. Does anyone know when it's out? Seems like they're doing some listening parties in Canadia... Anyone going? Any details?

God, I'm crap at this interwebbing.
Just heard three of the songs. V good indeed. Sounds like a return to the original sound of the self titled and Rated R. Should be released in June - for anyone who's bothered. You should check out Mr Homme. He's one of the most innovative and exciting musicians of his era.

I must say... I'm surprised I'm a minority of one here. I would have thought that fans of Prince would have embraced the eclecticism and energy of Queens... Surely there's someone out there that enjoys the frivolity and immense talent they bring to the world of music?

i dig The Queens. THe production on Lullabies to Paralyze is amazing. I havent heard another album that sounds like it. so..thick and muddy, but so clear at the same time. Josh and co. may not have the most complex guitar lines, but they sound damn good. [Edited 5/31/07 11:35am] A happy face, A Thumpin Bass, For A Lovin' Race. PEACE.

i love Queens of the Stone Age. Actually I love all of their albums, with their very first album being my least favorite - but the rest of them kick ass.
The new album is pretty good. I downloaded a relatively low quality copy of it so far and enjoyed it. Can't wait to see some of the videos off of this.

At long last! The Queens community responds! I don't feel so lonely anymore.
I've enjoyed the three I've heard off the new album. Will acquire it asap.
