OK so I never heard of her till I saw her on letterman a few weeks back and I was like wow...she's weird. well then Prince mentioned her so I checked out a few youtube links and talk about blown away! I think her voice is AMAZING!
I hear she's got some issues but...who don't...right? Let's just say I hope she recovers.
I think I'm gonna get her new album this weekend.
I'm wondering what everyone else thinks of her?

I just got the cd a couple of weeks ago. It's fantastic. She's a train wreck, that's for sure, but I like her music.

Yes, I've wondered about this too. She doesn't seem like someone that he would associate with. She does have a great voice, but some of her antics are a turn off.

My son has been playing her music for months now, but he saw her in person and said she looks a mess although she has an awesome voice. She definitely has a Smokey Robinson, Supremes, and other artists from the 80s sound. If you listen to some of her tracks you can definitely pick up on that motown sound.

Oh yeah she did a great job of it. I like her earlier stuff too, with the jazz/hip hop vibe. She's a unique and cool artist. I want her around for a long time, so I hope she takes care of herself.
