On September 1, 2007 on WGN, "Soul Train" will show for the new season from 2007-08 season. She will Be Hosting the "Soul Train" Weekly Series for the new season this year. Featuring the Soul Train Dancers. Featuring the theme song "Soul Train (theme song)" by Fergie featuring Will.i.Am. "Soul Train" will be first new 2007-08 season, and the guests Rich Boy, Ne-Yo, and Webster featuring Young B. It originally aired on September 1, 2007 on WGN.

he can't really think this is going to give the show any kind of successful face lift.

Hopefully this means we have 3 and a half more months of old episodes.

When September gets here, don't anyone go near "Soul Train". Let's drop the ratings and hope the show is either forced to show more old episodes or go off the air altogether.

I'm intrigued.

Where are they gonna find the "SOUL"?

they should find some DJs and digital editing geeks and "remix" some of the classic soul train footage with current footage of GOOD soul performers in a live setting, whether it's tour footage or studio performances a la "unplugged" (enough with the lip synching, grandpa don! )

Sorry, but I can't be mad at Don for this. He owns, exclusively, all of the rights to all of the Soul Trains, so he's getting paid from these reruns plus the new sponsorships (like McDonald's) that are tagged onto these reruns.

Now, he's bringing it back for another season? Good or bad, he's making more money. More power (as well as love, peace, and soul) to him!

Don should just stick to showing re-runs.Young kids don't even watch 'Soul Train' anyway.They don't need to.They already have MTV,BET,VH-1 and YouTube Keep showing the re-runs from the 70s and 80s and keep us Old School folks happy.
