I don't like that one disbelief sounds like an early 90s song

Give me "Shame" and "Betcha She Don't Love You" instead! wink

It does have that dated sound to it, but in this case it`s a good thing biggrin

King is a great singer, and her material, especially in the early years, is impressive. "Spirit of the dancer" is one of my favorites music

She has a good soulful voice, i love her more slow songs, like "I`m just warming up" from "Get loose"

I remember seeing her in concert in the late 90s.She launched into one of her new songs and got a little annoyed that nobody knew what it was lol "Yeah,I know....you never heard it before",she said,in a rolling-her-eyes type of way...lol

A little diva... lol

She released an album in Europe in the mid 90s, i think it`s called "I`ll keep a light on". I`ve never heard it...

Yeah,I think that's the song she was singing lol or something else from that album. It had a very Eurodisco sound...totally unlike her earlier hits.

In the late 80s,she released one of her last good albums....'Flirt' from 1988.Contains a cool slow jam "Kisses Don't Lie" music

I bought a cheap copy on ebay recently, but i didn`t like it (except the title track), so i`ve only listened to it once. I might have to give it another chance...

Great cover though...

I like this song. The album that its form ( GIrl Next Door) is pretty good, too. Its mainly a mid-tempo house affair produced by one of the Sylvers(cant remember if its Foster or Leon). She does a good version of "Footsteps in the Dark" on this one. Ive never seen the "Day to Day" video. Thaks for the post cool

The album is okay, the full-length album version of "Day to day" is addictive...
"Cross your mind" is also good.

Uptempo, late 80s, very dated. I actually think you would like this album.
