All I can think of is Sade and Tears For Fears. I've heard very little to no complaints about them here on in orgland as well as in the outside world. But I can't think of any others.

i've known people who LOATHE tears for fears.

and i've also known people who think sade is elevator music, but i think they were just trying to be all punker-than-thou.

Those people are called dumbasses.

No, but from my own personal experience I've heard VERY little animosity about those artists. But I don't even think there are any artists that everybody likes.

I could say The Beatles or Prince or Weezer or even Led Zeppelin. But I've heard bad things heard about all these guys too.

I think most people that have heard her like Annie Lennox.

even people who HAAATE country music like the general concept of dolly parton.

anyway, people who loathe dolly parton have severe problems. they should be locked up.

John Coltrane and Miles Davis are nearly universally loved. I also can't think of a soul that dislikes The Temptations or Aretha Franklin (no pun intended).
