I just saw it for the first time & I'm pretty disgusted...

Even if she was a grown woman, that is some over the top BULLSHIT to do to a stranger - he was throwing this heffa around like she was his fuck toy for real whofarted Even if she wanted to, she couldn't have stopped him - I was LOOKING for an opportunity for her to escape or even act like she wasn't with it, but there was no getting away from that fool (not saying she tried, but I certainly didn't see the chance for her to)...

I think the fact that she turned out to be underage is what's making us focus on this in the first place, otherwise everything in his world would be going swimmingly right now - I know it's a cultural thing b/c it's a little different in the islands but damn, that shit was just wrong to me. Was she supposed to expect that? Is that what's known as a "dance contest" there??? Really? Who can really & truly say that a 14 year old should have expected something so graphic? I'm not saying she should have been in the venue b/c she shouldn't have, & I'm not saying she's all innocent - I'm just saying can we take a look @ the shit that's passing for acceptable behavior here???

I don't care how she was dressed (b/c silly kids to silly things, hello) - no girl/woman deserves to be flung around on a stage & pounded like that. And I used to think Bobby Brown did some bullshit on stage disbelief

To enter THAT particular nightclub, you have to be age 18 and over.

The little girl in question was age 14, a teen who either creep in the club OR was using a fake I.D. Not to mention that she was dress to look a lot older than she really was.

AFAIC, Akon might still get sue.....maybe! But I don't see him going to jail for this because that young girl wasn't so innocent to begin with if she needed to lie to get in a club that she had no damn business going to. Case closed.

Case closed, my ass! So if an 18 year old woman got up there, he did the same shit & she was mortified - would she deserve that?

I would love to hear the lure for getting these women on stage - that was NOT a dance contest. The shit is STANK & it's worse b/c of her age. Had she been 18 or older it would still be highly questionable exclaim

Why must Gwen suffer for the actions of this asshole?

Not making excuses for him anyway, but what is the under-aged girl doing in an adult club anyway?

Well, we all know now why no one under age 18 are ever suppose to be admited inside that particular club. These kind of parties aren't for children or teens.

As for the record, the word "rape" is a very wrong choice of a word to describe the video footage that's still being played all over the world wide web (beside, their clothes were still on their bodies). THIS is wild freak dance!!! And hell yeah, this is stank & shameful. But it's nothing new.

And if Akon & the teen girl were both white, it would have been an all new Girls Gone Wild video.

Exactly. And that the real reason why it doesn't look like a "rape" at all.

1. She either creep inside without any of the bouncers around to notice.

2. She used a fake I.D. to get pass the bouncers.

OR

3. A close adult friend of her purchase the tickets for her via phone or internet (THIS is the main rumor thats been told to the media).

I think that's a bit unfair. Although I think Akon went too far with his stage performance that night, I think that the club, this girl & her parents as well should be held accountable. How was Akon supposed to know she was only 14? Fact of the matter is that this girl was just out of control.

yeah and she's the daughter of a preacher, and everybody who grew going to church knows that the preacher's kids are the ones with the worst behavior and the most wildest bunch. Hell, they are the ones who get into clubs for free!!

Umm, WHY is everyone missing the point on the "rape" comment? confused The way she was dressed was being questioned & while it is far too revealing for a 14 year old, the poster was simply saying that using her outfit as an excuse to say she deserved it (which happens in rape cases) is WRONG.

Y'all mf's need to read that shit again lol

Good well maybe this is the start of the whole "Imus" effect that will be coming down on everyone. Whether this girl should have been in the clubor not in the club, everyone needs to take responsibility for their actions, honestly at this point in time, if you are bringing anyone on stage and not having them sign a contract U ARE AN IDIOT, u are open to any and all forms of a lawsuit. On tours by Christina,PCD,Janet,Mya they all have parts in their show where they take a guy out of the audience and do various things to them, but they are picked at the beginning of the show and they have to sign a contract backstage which basically says U CANT SUE, and heres what we will be doing with you. So Akon is an idiot for doing this plain and simple, and now he lost his tour, but also Gwen needs to take ownership here too, im sick of these POP artists using rappers like Akon,Camron,Rkelly to push their records, but then they are all shocked when they rape some girl or shoot someone.

I had to re-read this thread...

yeah.. if u're an artist.. you cant just bring females up that you dont know about... Akon is gonna have to eat this one... I dont like his music, but sad his image is wrecked over this..

My thing is.....Akon isn't like R. Kelly who preys on young girls, he genuinely thought this chick was of age. I didn't like the dance and am in no way defending his actions, but the club should be investigated a little more vigorously than him.
