SPOILER AMERICAN IDOL Well, LAKISHA is out and so AM I.. im thru for IDOL 07..
She truly deserved it the IDOL spot. I could honestly care less about JORDAN, MELINDA AND BLAKE. It will probably go 2 JORDAN, if not Melinda.. but LaKisha was the underdog and the true IDOL. It seems like her POWERHOUSE of a voice was too overwhelming. I think there is similarities between her and PATTI LABELLE. Patti.. one of the most gifted voices of our time never achieved crossover success. Woman of color with voices like this never get there proper's.... | |

Blake was horrible,but the ladies love him. He's not going anywhere

[/b] She was #4 out of something like 100,000 that auditioned. I'd say she got her props. She's just not as consistant as Melinda and not as cute as Jordin and not creative like Blake. Besides, the show is all about idols, not artists. My Legacy

It's just good TV to me. They can sing, but I've never seen one contestant whose album I'd buy. There's no real creativity. But it's a good TV show. My Legacy

AI is so devoid of creativity that everyone's amazed by Blake changing a song slightly. Even me. I find myself thinking "that was as good as Bon Jovi! Oh wait, I hate Bon Jovi"

the TV ratings for AI r down
last season 31mil this week 25mil weeks b4 sanjaya was voted off 28mil so the total drop is more or less 20% sanjaya's departure cost it 10% but i am surprised sanjaya leaving didn't have a more profound effect i was hopin for like a 50% reduction well we can only hope. I'm a musician and it's kind of embarassing to admit I watch the show, but it's purely for TV junkie reasons! its pure escapism...with everything else going wrong in the world its good to have a good laugh at the expense of our youth.
