1. Patrice Rushen & The Sugarhill Gang
2. Rick James & The SOS Band
3. The Time & Patti LaBelle

I think what made the Patrice Rushen episode my favorite so far, is the songs they played for the dancers. They played some jams I never expected them to play such as:

Call It What You Want - Bill Summers and Summers Heat
Get Tough - Kleeer
Aye No Corrida - Quincy Jones
Super Love - Skyy

I would have enjoyed seeing Whodini if it had been earlier in their career such as "Magic's Wand" or "Five Minutes of Funk". The episode they played was from the late 1980s and pop was taking over R&B.....they even played Shitney Houston during the line dance.....to which I threw my recording in the trash because that was the last straw with that episode. lol
