I just noticed he gave M83 an 8. I only know their song "Kelly". A long story short: A co-worker was leaving my company so as a parting gift I made her a mix CD where every song title had her name in it--Kelly (why is another long story). In my iTunes search, M83's "Kelly" came up, I heard the first ten seconds and decided it had to go on the comp.

Didn't think they were popular enough to make anyone's top 3000. Music snobs must have been in cahoots. Surprisingly damosuzuki doesn't know about them.

And Black Tape For A Blue Girl is on this list too. That's a shocker.

Gangsta, I think I asked you about that Ryksopp album when you posted it on a 'now listening' thread because it had a really striking cover, if I remember correctly. I've definitely never heard any of their music either, but I do have their name in my 'investigate' file - I'd be willing to bet I put it in their after discussing them with you.
