with only this song commodores put down p funk army to shame
it's sad thing commodores will be probably be remembered as balads bands.
they were tour de funk .
they need to do a reunion tour and leave one dvd of new concert
and old footage as bonus and leavy the legacy to the future legacy because they were realy one of the best funk bands ever.
no wonder people called them the black beatles althought maybe that title is reserved for earth wind and fire.

Like someone else previously mentioned after midnight magic and sexy lady that was the beginning of the end for the commodores as funk goes. Lionel started to become a serious songwriter and was in demand. We all know the rest.

of course i know that isnt the only funky song by commodores ,commodores have maybe 30 or 35 funky songs.
