Zodiac Mindwarp a definite yes to that one. I bought their debut EP way back when because it sounded exactly like something I'd love (psychedelic garage metal), but I could not get into it at all.

Dolly Parton - it's not so much that I dislike her music, I can just never really get into it.
I guess I'd have to say the same with Joni Mitchell, too. I like reading interviews with her more than I like listening to her, though there are maybe two albums of hers I actually do like.

Get Dolly's Live DVD and it will make you a believer. There are lots of covers on this, and some of her music can be a little hokey, but just about every one of the tracks on this is great. She's a phenomenal singer and brilliant stage presence. She's probably done her onstage banter a thousand times but she still knows how to work a crowd. I'm praying she plays nearby soon before she stops touring for good.
