He gets fair amount of mention here. I am going to see him perform Live on June 9.

Many, many times. I've sampled his music on iTunes (which may not be the best way to gauge him, I grant you). I was underwhelmed.

He's almost like a parody of Freddie Mercury. Which is blasphemous in and of its self. neutral

I don't know if it's the music or the fact that he doesn't know how to play to the camera, or dance, or even move smoothly or what but he's needs somebody to work with him on his stage presence.

i saw one of his videos a couple of times a few months ago. it seemed like the Queen entry in the Franz Ferdinand/Darkness-style nouveau-retro trend of the last few years.

Saw him on Jools Holland and he played grace kelly on piano, THIS GUY CAN SING HIS ASS OFF.

My only question is since I don't have the album does the production on the album make him into a cartoon character. Cause his voice to me sounds like Freddie meets George Michael.

I have heard the single grace kelly off the album and liked it, but the other 30 second samples on itunes I couldn't tell if the vocals were overpowered by the need to be clever in production/arrangement.
Music is the best...
