Love The Beatles, love The Funk...
Do the paths intersect at times, yes, I believe, does it define? No. When you break it down, it's all subjective. "Labels" are limited. Just Dig. Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way. | |

I love Beatles as much as Funkadelic and feel their psychedelica and lyrical themes had a tremendous influence on funk bands (not talking the commercial dancefloor genre). Occasionally they found a groove, but they are only to be considered funky as far you consider Little Richard or Chuck Berry. If those two pre-James Brown icons are funk then it's all funky over here (cuz over there ain't shit!). test | |
