Antony does not spoil Volta, he compliments the album. I love his presence. Antony & The Johnsons' The Lake made me cry, first time I heard it performed live. I was so distraught by the emotions, I had to be comforted by friends.

I love The Beatles. Esp their later work. George Harrison is my favourite Beatle. Esp for Something. Something makes me yearn for true love.

The new Tori Amos. Still not convinced. I like it a notch better than her previous efforts, though. Bouncing Off Clouds, Bring Yer Dog, Programmable Soda, but especially Body & Soul. That's about it, though. Please let somebody tell Tori about EP's. Pretty please. Her albums are way too long and therefor drag. Really, really needs A Trent Reznor to fuck her shit up.

And I mean what I say, I just use the words I use to, ermm, antagonise a bit. I admit it. I am a bastid.

And no, no, no, Moonbeam, that is NOT the single release of the year. It just makes me wanna listen to the Gang Of Four. Dunno why. I think LCD are limited fun, good for a while, but wearing thin really soon.

I love Abba and Madonna, but just not as album artists. They are beyond gay both, but damn, some of their songs are SO good... Abba's Eagle or Summernight City (soundtrack version though) and Madonna's What It Feels Like For A Girl (ACE sample) and Justify My Love.

And yes, I kinda condemn music by Erasure, The Pet Shop Boys, Madonna, Cher and Barbra Streisand as idolised by gay culture. But I love 'transgendered freaks' like Antony Hogarty. Cuz he channels Billie Holiday. And does not sound like copying. He takes something and makes it his. And sorry if he ruined your Lou Reed excperience, Abierman; I adore Antony.

As you know, I have absolutely no problem with gay men, I do have a problem with gay men who keep feeling sorry for themselves that they are gay and can't stop whining about it.....(which he does!). Lou Reed pissed me off by putting him on stage and letting him fuck up 75% of the set, totally gaying up some Lou Reed and Velvet Underground classics.....I had not come to the concert for that.

This said, I don't mind him on Bjork's 'Volta'.
