It's worth noting that even back then,she was evolving (a little) with each album.There is a huge difference between the debut album and 'Like A Virgin'.The debut album is mostly R&B/dance music.'Like A Virgin' is a New Wave-styled pop album with only a little R&B.'True Blue' is pure pop,but the songs are more mature and intropective ("Papa Don't Preach","Live To Tell").
However,I rarely listen to the first three Madonna albums.I think she made her greatest music in the 90s. | |
