80s pop classic of the day: "Saved By Zero" by The Fixx

Everybody always makes a big deal about their other big hit from this period, "One Thing Leads To Another", but I like the cool, sophisticated sound of "Saved By Zero"

"Reach the Beach" is an amazing album... I love "Phantoms" as well, but "Reach the Beach" has so many great tunes. "Sign of Fire", "Saved by Zero", "Reach the Beach", "One Thing Leads to Another"... the whole album is very good.

I always thought "Phantoms" was underrated. The Fixx was an incredible band.

This is crazy. I was listening to...

...Reach The Beach on the way home last night. Great cover too.

Jamie West-Oram has a killer rhythm guitar sound.

Opinions, Changing & Outside are also really good tunes.
As lilgish & Northernlad have said, it's just a great album period.
Head and shoulders above most in the New Wave genre.
