And he doesn't always sing with it, so I don't know what makes him decide to use it. Yeah, I'm iffy on the choice of the male vocalist but the poem itself and just thinking about actually having someone in my life that I could actually muse like that over makes everything all better Yeah, it makes me think of my man "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." -Dr. Seuss

Um... is he the one that runs that record store? And the label? I'm not sure Surely, there's something.... well, i know he's written some books of poetry, which i'm SURE are quite lovely.

Okay, I'm gonna take this in stages. But first things first...
I'll write more as it comes to me, cuz right now I'm still a little annihilated from last weekend.

I have a few words. So yeah, it was Einar alright. But seeing him on his own made me realize how much they reigned him in for the Sugarcubes stuff. Left to his own devices, his new band makes the Cubes sound like the friggin' Cranberries or something. The music itself was pretty cool. But it literally was like watching someone have a mental collapse to a hard electronica backdrop. Not a pretty sight, although it was hysterical at times. Most notable was probably his rant about the fight he had with his sofa, "Why would you want to put your ass in my face?" Probably the best moment of the opening act came thanks to my concert partner Ivy (Stymie). She happened to notice someone in a gold lamé costume on the side of the stage. Well, wouldn't you know that it was Björk with her hair done up like Pebbles from the Flintstones. She was headbanging, sticking her tongue out and pumping her fists with hands. It was hysterical to watch and actually pretty endearing to see her cheering her old friend on. That's about the nicest thing I can say about it though. After seeing him live, I realized I saw him walking all around the lobby before entering the show. I thought, wow that looks like Einar Orn, but a LOT worse. He's really let himself go.

Oh man, she didn't? It was one of the wildest, most insane performances she's ever done. The beginning starts off sorta like the album version, but with horns instead, but the end turns into a crazy mash-up with LFO's "Freak". You must seek it out!

You must seek it out! this just may go down as the single most brilliant thing I've ever seen live. I seriously have teared up everytime I've tried to describe it to folks. I know I can't declare favorites in my historical lists until I've digested it more, but it's got a good chance.
